Arnbrook Primary Academy is a Primary School for children aged 4-11 years. We also have our own nursery provision. We're delighted to be offering eligible families 30 hours childcare per week (term time only) for 3-4 year olds. You can find out more by clicking and applying directly here.

ONE Academy Trust is the Admissions Authority for ONE Academy Trust.
Admissions to Arnbrook Primary School are processed by the Local Authority as part of the Local Authority Coordinated Admissions Scheme. The Admissions link below will open the Nottinghamshire County Council Primary Admissions page where you will find guidance about application dates and access to online application forms for school places. Applications can also be made via post or over the phone.

In-Year Admissions
If you would like to make an in-year admission to move or change schools, please contact the Nottinghamshire County council admissions team at any point in the year. If we do not have a school place in the year you have applied for, we will add your details to a waiting list managed in accordance with our admissions policy and admissions criteria.

Out-of-Area
If your child currently attends a school outside of Nottinghamshire it may operate a different pattern of education. Please see the Nottinghamshire County Council website or contact the school for further information.

Visiting our school
We offer tours of the school in the Autumn term each year before the deadline date for applications and we would welcome you contacting us to arrange a visit.

• The application round opens on 3rd November 2025 and closes at midnight on 15th January 2026
• The offer date for the September 2026 intake is 16th April 2026 (National Offer Day)
• If you apply online you'll also be able to log on to the website from this date to view your offer.
• If you don't have an email address, your offer will be posted second class on 16th April 2026

Appeals
• If you're unhappy with the decision you can make a primary school admissions appeal. This should be made to the Local Authority using their Appeal form available on their website here https://www.nottinghamshire.gov.uk/education/school-admissions/appeal-a-school-admission-decision
2024/25 (in-year admissions only)
If your appeal relates to an in-year admission you should submit your appeal to the Local Authority within 20 school days of being told that your application was unsuccessful.
2025/26 application round
If your appeal is for a child transferring to a junior school or starting an infant or primary school in September 2025 and you are told of the decision on 16th April 2025 (National Offer Day) you should submit your appeal to the Local Authority by the date stated in your letter/available on the Local Authority website which will be at least 20 school days from the National Offer Day.
• If you are told of an infant, junior or primary decision after 16th April 2025, or it relates to an in-year admission, you should submit your appeal within 20 school days of being told your application was unsuccessful.
2026/27 application round

Outcome of the statutory consultation on the admission arrangements for Arnbrook Primary School
Admissions 2025/2026
The trustees of ONE Academy Trust (the Admissions Authority) last consulted on the admissions arrangements for Arnbrook Primary School in Autumn 2023 for admissions in 2025/26, in accordance with the statutory requirements set out in the School Admissions Code. The consultation ran from Monday 20th Nov 2023 - Monday 8th Jan 2024. The purpose of the consultation was to change the Admissions Authority from Believe Academy Trust to ONE Academy Trust and re-format the document. There were no changes to the admissions arrangements.
The ONE Academy Trust Admissions Policy and the admissions arrangements for Arnbrook Primary School are available on our school website and on the ONE Academy Trust website. Copies are available on request.
